Gabi — Privacy Policy

Gabi ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Korean alphabet (Hangul) learning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the app and how it is handled. We built Gabi to work without accounts and to keep your data on your own device wherever possible.

1. Information we collect

Information stored only on your device. Your learning progress — letters learned, tracing scores, practice records, streak, and settings (language, sound) — and your purchase status are saved locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. This data is not sent to us and we cannot access it. Deleting the app removes it.

We do NOT collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or accounts (Gabi has no sign-up/login)
  • Your contacts, photos, location, or files
  • Any data on our own servers (we operate no backend)

Information collected by third parties (see Section 3). To show ads and process purchases, third-party services may collect limited device and usage information, such as an advertising identifier and approximate device data. This is handled by those third parties under their own policies.

2. How information is used

  • To save and restore your learning progress on your device.
  • To display ads.
  • To process and restore in-app purchases (Gabi+ and printable workbooks).

3. Third-party services

Gabi uses the following third-party services, which may collect data as described in their privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob (advertising) — may collect an advertising identifier (e.g. IDFA), device information, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. policies.google.com/privacy
  • Apple App Store / In-App Purchase — processes any purchases; payment is handled entirely by Apple. apple.com/legal/privacy
  • Google Fonts — font files may be downloaded, which can involve your IP address. policies.google.com/privacy

4. Advertising and tracking (iOS)

Gabi shows ads through Google AdMob. On iOS, ad personalization may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA). Apple requires apps to ask permission before tracking; you can allow or deny this, and you can change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Denying tracking does not stop ads — it limits ad personalization.

5. Children's privacy

Gabi is a general-audience educational app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help.

6. Your choices

  • Reset your data: Settings → Data → "Reset all progress" clears your local data. Deleting the app also removes all local data.
  • Limit ad tracking: Use your device's privacy/tracking settings.
  • Remove ads: Purchasing Gabi+ removes ads in the app.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.

Gabi(이하 "본 앱")는 한국어 알파벳(한글) 학습 앱입니다. 본 방침은 앱을 이용할 때 어떤 정보가 관련되며 어떻게 처리되는지를 설명합니다. Gabi는 계정 없이 동작하며, 가능한 한 데이터를 사용자의 기기에만 보관하도록 설계되었습니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

기기에만 저장되는 정보. 학습 진행 상황 — 익힌 글자, 따라쓰기 점수, 연습 기록, 연속 기록, 설정(언어·소리) — 과 구매 상태는 운영체제의 기본 저장소를 통해 사용자의 기기에 로컬로만 저장됩니다. 이 데이터는 당사로 전송되지 않으며 당사가 접근할 수 없습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.

수집하지 않는 정보:

  • 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 계정 (Gabi는 회원가입/로그인이 없습니다)
  • 연락처, 사진, 위치, 파일
  • 당사 서버에 저장되는 어떠한 데이터 (당사는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않습니다)

제3자가 수집하는 정보 (3항 참조). 광고 표시 및 결제 처리를 위해 제3자 서비스가 광고 식별자, 대략적인 기기 정보 등 제한된 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다. 이는 해당 제3자의 정책에 따라 처리됩니다.

2. 정보의 이용 목적

  • 기기에 학습 진행 상황을 저장·복원하기 위해
  • 광고 표시를 위해
  • 인앱 구매(Gabi+ 및 인쇄용 워크북)의 처리 및 복원을 위해

3. 제3자 서비스

Gabi는 다음 제3자 서비스를 이용하며, 각 서비스는 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다.

  • Google AdMob (광고) — 광고 게재 및 측정을 위해 광고 식별자(예: IDFA), 기기 정보, 광고 상호작용 데이터를 수집할 수 있습니다. policies.google.com/privacy
  • Apple App Store / 인앱 결제 — 결제를 처리하며, 결제는 전적으로 Apple이 수행합니다. apple.com/legal/privacy

4. 광고 및 추적 (iOS)

Gabi는 Google AdMob을 통해 광고를 표시합니다. iOS에서는 광고 맞춤설정에 기기 광고 식별자(IDFA)가 사용될 수 있습니다. Apple은 추적 전 사용자 동의를 받도록 요구하며, 사용자는 이를 허용/거부할 수 있고 언제든지 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 변경할 수 있습니다. 추적을 거부해도 광고가 사라지지는 않으며, 광고 맞춤설정이 제한될 뿐입니다.

5. 아동의 개인정보

Gabi는 일반 이용자 대상 교육용 앱으로 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 당사는 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 아동이 개인정보를 제공했다고 판단되면 당사에 연락해 주십시오.

6. 이용자의 선택권

  • 데이터 초기화: 설정 → 데이터 → "모든 진행 초기화"로 로컬 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱 삭제 시에도 모든 로컬 데이터가 제거됩니다.
  • 광고 추적 제한: 기기의 개인정보/추적 설정을 이용하세요.
  • 광고 제거: Gabi+ 구매 시 앱 내 광고가 제거됩니다.

7. 방침의 변경

본 방침은 수시로 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 상단의 "최종 업데이트" 날짜가 최신 버전을 나타냅니다.

Gabi（以下「本アプリ」）は韓国語の文字（ハングル）学習アプリです。本ポリシーは、アプリの利用時にどのような情報が関わり、どのように扱われるかを説明します。Gabiはアカウント不要で動作し、可能な限りデータを利用者の端末内にのみ保存するよう設計されています。

1. 収集する情報

端末内にのみ保存される情報。 学習の進行状況 — 覚えた文字、なぞり書きのスコア、練習記録、連続記録、設定（言語・サウンド） — および購入状態は、OS標準のストレージを用いて端末内にローカル保存されます。このデータは当社へ送信されず、当社はアクセスできません。アプリを削除するとあわせて削除されます。

収集しない情報:

  • 氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、アカウント（Gabiに登録/ログインはありません）
  • 連絡先、写真、位置情報、ファイル
  • 当社サーバー上のいかなるデータ（当社は独自のサーバーを運用していません）

第三者が収集する情報（第3項参照）。 広告の表示および購入処理のため、第三者サービスが広告識別子やおおよその端末情報など限定的な情報を収集する場合があります。これらは各第三者のポリシーに従って扱われます。

2. 情報の利用目的

  • 端末上で学習の進行状況を保存・復元するため
  • 広告を表示するため
  • アプリ内課金（Gabi+および印刷用ワークブック）の処理・復元のため

3. 第三者サービス

Gabiは以下の第三者サービスを利用しており、各サービスは自社のプライバシーポリシーに従って情報を収集する場合があります。

  • Google AdMob（広告）— 広告の配信・測定のため、広告識別子（例：IDFA）、端末情報、広告操作データを収集する場合があります。policies.google.com/privacy
  • Apple App Store / アプリ内課金 — 購入を処理し、決済はすべてAppleが行います。apple.com/legal/privacy
  • Google Fonts — フォントファイルがダウンロードされる場合があり、その際にIPアドレスが関わることがあります。policies.google.com/privacy

4. 広告とトラッキング（iOS）

GabiはGoogle AdMobを通じて広告を表示します。iOSでは広告のパーソナライズに端末の広告識別子（IDFA）が使用される場合があります。Appleはトラッキング前に利用者の許可を求めることを義務付けており、利用者は許可/拒否でき、設定 → プライバシーとセキュリティ → トラッキングでいつでも変更できます。トラッキングを拒否しても広告がなくなるわけではなく、広告のパーソナライズが制限されるのみです。

5. 子どものプライバシー

Gabiは一般利用者向けの教育アプリであり、13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。当社は子どもの個人情報を意図的に収集しません。子どもが個人情報を提供したと思われる場合は当社までご連絡ください。

6. 利用者の選択

  • データの初期化： 設定 → データ →「すべての進捗をリセット」でローカルデータを削除できます。アプリの削除でもすべてのローカルデータが消去されます。
  • 広告トラッキングの制限： 端末のプライバシー/トラッキング設定をご利用ください。
  • 広告の削除： Gabi+を購入するとアプリ内の広告が削除されます。

7. 本ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは随時更新されることがあります。冒頭の「最終更新日」が最新版を示します。
